Dear Glenn,
In lieu of holiday cards, I have made contributions to the charities of your choice.
Earlier this month I made an offer to match charity giving from my friends and colleagues up to $50 per donation and for a total of $500. The response was quick and very positive. Within eight hours I received 10 takers. In addition, one fellow UMass alum, Arthur Bourque, took my offer one step further and offered to match the next 10 donors. Arthur is CEO of Surveillance Specialties, Ltd. in Wilmington, MA. I call that the spirit of giving!
In these difficult economic times, our nation's charities continue to count on the generosity of individuals and organizations. Consider making a donation to one of the charities listed below or one of your own.
